The Virginia Humanities Conference 2007 will be held at Christopher Newport University, located in Newport News, Virginia, near some of the nation’s most significant historic sites and some of its best beaches! We're two hours south of Washington, D.C., 45 minutes from the Virginia Beach oceanfront, and 20 minutes east of historic Williamsburg. Here on our 260-acre campus, you’ll find boundless energy and state-of-the-art buildings — including new residence halls and apartments and an arts center designed by the firm of internationally renowned architect I.M. Pei.
